Oppo A78 5G launch: Oppo is all set to launch its new Oppo A78 5G smartphone in India today (16th January). This phone will be the company’s first phone in 2023, and its teaser has been released for a long time. From the teaser released on social media, some of the phone’s features have been revealed ahead of its launch.
A 5,000mAh battery will be provided in the Oppo A78 5G. In terms of power, the phone will come with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with Mali-G7 MC2 GPU.

Oppo A78 5G was recently launched in Malaysia. The phone has a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. In addition, it can support up to 8 GB of additional virtual memory using the built-in storage.
It can get a 50 megapixel dual camera
As a camera, the smartphone has a dual rear camera setup. It will have a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome camera sensor. The phone has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Both camera sensors are capable of recording Full HD videos at 30fps. The phone is expected to come in two color options – Glowing Black and Glowing Purple.

According to rumors, the device could be priced under Rs 20,000. However, its real price will not be known until after its launch today.
Oppo recently announced that it will provide four years of major ColorOS updates for select models starting in 2023. The company also revealed that it will provide five years of security patches for selected flagship models in 2023.
