DECATUR – The Heritage Behavioral Well being Middle has appointed Mary E. Garrison as President and CEO after Sweet Clevenger’s retirement.

Garrison has labored in psychological well being companies, coverage and advocacy for greater than 25 years. She at the moment serves as a consultant for the Nationwide Affiliation of Social Employee Delegates and is the Chair of the Classroom Ethics Committee at NASW Illinois.
She was beforehand a recipient of the NASW Award for Illinois Social Staff and a two-time recipient of the Cesar Chavez Social Justice Award.
Garrison can also be a board member of a number of native organizations, together with the Good Samaritan Inn, Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy, and Macon County Continuum of Care.
Clevenger began at Heritage in 1990 and has served as CEO since 2015.
